Fairfax County Police Dept. Seeks Auxiliary Volunteers

The Fairfax County Police Department’s Auxiliary Police Officer Program is currently seeking applicants. An all-volunteer civilian force comprised of 108 men and women, APOs supplement the sworn personnel in public safety operations.

They perform duties such as staffing sobriety checkpoints, protecting the integrity of crime scenes, and may be deployed to natural or man-made disasters at any time.
