Stuart Music Funds Sought in Tag Day Door-to-Door Drive

The J.E.B. Stuart High School Music Department’s award-winning band, chorus, and orchestra ensembles perform throughout the year at home football games, competitions, concerts and other community events. Each year, student and parent volunteers ask the school community directly for support by going to every home within the Stuart High district on one day a year known as Tag Day. This year’s Tag Day is this Saturday.

Stuart supporters are invited to make a tax-deductible donation. These gifts enable the Music Department to purchase uniforms, instruments, equipment, music, guest instructors, and transportation to events and competitions. Donations also cover other Music Department expenses that are not funded by Fairfax County.

Those interested in donating may also mail donations to: J.E.B. Stuart High School Band Boosters, Inc., P.O. Box 1640, Falls Church, VA 22041. Those who issue checks for $25 with their name and address will received a receipt and thank-you letter for tax records. Checks should be made payable to “JEB Stuart High School Band Boosters, Inc.”
