Marshall Squad Takes Third in Cyber Challenge

The George C. Marshall CyberPatriot team Flying Bacon took third place in the Maryland Cyber Challenge semifinals earlier this month.

In the first round of competition, Flying Bacon took fourth place and Murphy’s Law, another GCM team, took sixth place. Both teams competed in the semifinals and went on to compete against eight other high school division finalists in Baltimore this week.The Cyber Security teams start the national competition on Nov. 2.

The Marshall CyberSecurity Club seeks to excite, educate, and motivate the next generation of cyber defenders and other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. For more information about this program, visit uscyberpatriot.org.
