The Falls Church area American Association of University Women is collecting books now thorough April 5 at the new book collection bin in the Falls Church Community Center for its annual book sale to be held on April 12 and 13 at the Community Center.

The book sale benefits scholarship programs for women, including local Falls Church high school girls.

Donors are invited to deposit clean, saleable books in the collection bin at the Community Center or call 703-941-5643 or email gjewell@cox.net for larger donations.

The AAUW needs all kinds of books: hard-covers, paperbacks, novels, non-fiction, children’s, cookbooks, etc. that are suitable for re-sale. Magazines, encyclopedias, text books, or damaged books are not needed.

The Falls Church Community Center is located at 223 Little Falls St., Falls Church.
