The Episcopal Diocese of Virginia will bring one of the world’s most famous choirs to Northern Virginia, as the Tallis Scholars will perform an exclusive concert next Tuesday, March 19, at The Falls Church-Episcopal.
For more than 40 years, the Oxford, England based Tallis Scholars have been considered the preeminent performers of the greatest sacred music of the Renaissance era. Hailed by the New York Times as “the rock stars of Renaissance vocal music,” the Tallis Scholars have produced literally dozens of recordings, receiving the highest critical acclaim across the globe.
