Police Seek Info in F.C. Sexual Assault

Police are seeking information in a reported sexual assault that took place last Monday, April 22 on Annandale Road in Falls Church.

Around 5 a.m last Monday, City of Falls Church Police say the victim initially reported that the incident occurred in the 100-200 block of S. Washington St., but after questioning reported that it occurred in the 100 block of W. Annandale Rd. The victim stated that she was struck in the head while walking to her car in the parking lot behind her residence. She said she remembers falling to her knees and then waking up with her pants pulled down. The victim stated that at no time did she see the suspect.

The incident was reported to the police last Tuesday evening. After following investigation protocol and increasing patrols of the area, detectives have had difficulty corroborating physical evidence and the victim’s story.
