City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for August 5 – 11, 2013

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #15 (H2O Cafe) On Aug. 5, a male, 51, of Centreville, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #2 (Café Gia) On Aug. 5, a male, 48, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #16 (Café Le Mirage) On Aug. 5, a male, 44, of Richmond, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #15 (H2O Cafe) On Aug. 5, a male, 38, of South Riding, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Assaulting a Family Member, 400 block N. West St. On Aug. 5, a male, 58, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Assaulting a Family Member.

Narcotics Violation, Resisting Arrest, 201 S. Washington St. (7-Eleven) On Aug. 5, an officer encountered a wanted individual by Fairfax County. The individual attempted to flee and officers apprehended the suspect. A male, 19, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Underage Possession of Alcohol and Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute warrants from Fairfax County. He was also arrested for Resisting Arrest and Possession of Marijuana.

Panhandling, 1000 block E. Broad St. On Aug. 6, a female, 24, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Panhandling.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #2 (Café Gia) On Aug. 6, a male, 39, of Annandale; and Nam H. Chau, 54, of Fairfax, were arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Public Drunkenness, 300 W. Broad St. (Stratford Motor Lodge) On Aug. 7, a male, 22, of Fairfax, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Larceny from Building, 400 block W. Broad St. On Aug. 7, police received a report that an unknown suspect stole an iPad and jewelry from a residence. There was no forced entry.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6795 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Aug. 7, a male, 46, of Sterling, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area. A male, 42, of Fairfax, was arrested and released on summons for Permitting Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Driving Under the Influence and Narcotics Violation, 100 block N. Washington St. On Aug. 8, a male, 22, of Arlington, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of a Schedule III Narcotic.

Shoplifting, 201 S. Washington St. (7-Eleven) On Aug. 8, an unknown suspect stole a case a beer from the storeThe suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5`8″-5`10″ tall , weighing 200 lbs. He was wearing a white t-shirt, dark khaki pants, and black and white stripped tennis shoes.

Violation of Protective Order, 400 block E. Broad St. On Aug. 9, a male, 25, no fixed address, was arrested for Violating a Protective Order.

Commercial Burglary, 400 W. Broad St. (Exxon Gas) On Aug. 9, unknown suspects smashed the front door of the business and stole cash and cartons of cigarettes.

Narcotics Violation, 700 block E. Broad St. On Aug. 9, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. One of the passengers, a female, 23, of Brooklyn, NY, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Panhandling, 1000 block E. Broad St. On Aug. 9, a female, 24, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Panhandling.

Trespass, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Aug. 9, a male, 56, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing.

Driving Under the Influence, 1100 block N. Sycamore St. On Aug. 9, a female, 34, of Arlington, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Driving Under the Influence, 6300 block Leesburg Pike On Aug. 10, a male, 34, of Hyattsville, MD, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Solicitation without a Permit, 400 block E. Jefferson St. On Aug. 10, a male, 20, of Arlington, was arrested and released on summons for Solicitation without a Permit.

Trespass, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Aug. 10, a male, 56, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing.

Urinating In Public, 306 Hillwood Ave. (Lesly’s Restaurant) On Aug. 11, a male, 30, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Urinating In Public.

Possession of False ID, 600 block Roosevelt Blvd. On Aug. 11, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver provided the officer with a False ID. The driver, a male, 21, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of a False ID.

Trespass and Public Drunkenness, 105 W. Broad St. (Ireland’s Four Provinces) On Aug. 11, a male, 52, no fixed address, was arrested for Trespass and Public Drunkenness.

Public Drunkenness, 900 block Hillwood Ave. On Aug. 11, a female, 51, of Fairfax, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6779 Wilson Blvd. (Café Vy) On Aug. 5, a male, 61 of Falls Church; a male, 54, of Burke, were arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #15 (H2O Cafe) On Aug. 11, a female, 30, of Silver Spring, MD, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Obstruction of Justice, 900 block Hillwood Ave. On Aug. 11, a male, 27, of Falls Church, and a female, 20, of Falls Church, were arrested as a result of an accident investigation earlier in the day.

Driving Under the Influence, 100 block N. Cherry St. On Aug. 11, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 25, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
