Editor Benton’s New Book, ‘Extraordinary Hearts,’ Now Out

Falls Church News-Press founder/owner Nicholas F. Benton’s new book, “Extraordinary Hearts: Reclaiming Gay Sensibility’s Central Role in the Progress of Civilization,” published by the Lethe Press, hit bookstores last weekend, at least of the online (i.e. Amazon) variety, where it was available in an electronic Kindle edition. Paperback editions will commence being available for purchase on Sept. 14.

According to a review by Kirkus Reviews, “The outspoken author believes his writings (a collection of his 100 “Gay Science Papers” published weekly from Oct. 2010 to Sept. 2012) collectively galvanize ‘a new dialogue in shaping LGBT identity and self-esteem going forward into a new world of equality.’ Readers will come away with much the same sentiment.”
