City Council, School Board Prep for Joint Meeting

The Falls Church City Council and School Board are gearing up for their first big joint pow-wow next week, a work session on Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Thomas Jefferson Elementary School library, that will mark the unofficial beginning of the next budget cycle.

It is expected that members of the Planning Commission will also be present, as well as elected but not yet seated candidates for the Council and School Board who won this Tuesday’s election. Those winners, to the extent they are not currently serving as incumbents, will be sworn in the first of next year.
