Falls Church School Board Briefed on City’s Financial Parameters

Moving into its first hearing on Superintendent Dr. Toni Jones’ proposed budget for the next school year, the Falls Church School Board was presented with financial overviews from City Manager Wyatt Shields and Chief Financial Officer Richard La Condre at its meeting tonight, including a thorough discussion of the options before the City on how to best deploy the expected $14 million net cash proceeds from the sale of the City’s water system to Fairfax County.
