A majority of the past week’s incidents in the Falls Church Crime Report involved thefts including a stolen package on Greenway Blvd., a wallet at BJ’s, a purse at Chipotle, slabs of meat from the Halalco Supermarket and more shoplifting at CVS. There were also three people arrested for marijuana possession, two trespassing arrests and four more smoking violations at Eden Center.

Trespass, 6763 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Apr. 7, a male, 38, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing.
Smoking Violation, 6779 Wilson Blvd. #25 (Café Vy) On Apr. 9, a male, 63, of Centreville; a male, 47 of Fairfax; a male, 45, of Falls Church; and a male, 51, of Falls Church, were issued summonses for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.
Arson, 400 block S, Maple Ave. On Apr. 9, an unknown suspect set a fire evacuation sign on fire.
Larceny from Building, 100 block W. Greenway Blvd. On Apr. 9, an unknown suspect(s) stole the contents from a delivered package at a residence.
Narcotics Violation, 200 block Buxton Rd. On Apr. 10, a male, 24, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana. A search warrant was executed and weapons and drugs were seized.
Larceny from Building, 6607 Wilson Blvd. (BJ’s Wholesale) On Apr. 10, a wallet was reported stolen near a register.
Driving Under the Influence, 400 block N Washington St. On Apr. 11, a male, 33, of Springfield, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Larceny from Building, 358 W. Broad St. (Chipotle) On Apr. 11, an unattended purse was reported stolen.
Narcotics Violation, 100 block S. Washington St. On Apr. 12, a 17 year-old male, of Falls Church; and a 17 year-old male, of Falls Church, were arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.
Attempted Assault, 6701 Wilson Blvd. (BP Gas) On Apr. 12, merchandise was thrown at the victim. The victim was not injured nor struck.
Vandalism to Vehicle, 1400 block S. West St. On Apr. 12, a vehicle window was reported damaged.
Shoplifting, 1150 W. Broad St. (CVS Pharmacy) On Apr. 12, a male, 34, of Reston, was arrested for Shoplifting.
Shoplifting, 155 Hillwood Ave. (Halalco Supermarket) On Apr. 12, an unknown suspect stole slabs of meat.
Burglary, 1000 block Lincoln Ave. On Apr. 12, police received a report of forced entry into a residence. No items were taken.
Trespass, Obstruction of Justice, and Public Drunkenness, 306 Hillwood Ave. On Apr. 13, a male, 35, of Falls Church, was arrested for Trespassing, Obstruction of Justice, and Public Drunkenness.
