Jody’s Jam of the Week: Capitol City Brewing Company SpringFest

409capcityWEBEven though it hasn’t felt like it, spring has been here for a while now and this Saturday Capitol City Brewing Company will celebrate that fact with their first annual SpringFest in Shirlington.

Cap City, DC’s first post-Prohibition brewpub, will unveil its first batch of Hefeweizen at the festival which attendees can sample along with more than 100 other seasonal beers from over 40 local breweries like Port City, Lost Rhino, Lickinghole Creek and Falls Church’s own Mad Fox Brewing Company. Along with the booze, there will be food from Shirlington Village restaurants and tunes from DJ Julius.

Admission is $30 and includes a tasting glass and 10 drink tickets. For non-drinkers, the event is free.

Where: The Village at Shirlington, 4001 Campbell Avenue, Arlington
