The City of Falls Church will be hosting an official pit stop as part of Bike to Work Day 2014, an event which may see thousands of commuters pedaling to work on Friday, May 16.
The pit stop will be held from 6:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. at Tricentennial Park.
Riders can enjoy free food, beverages, giveaways, and raffles along with free bike maintenance and stretching, courtesy of sponsors Bikenetic and Dancing Mind, respectively.
Registration is now open via the official Bike to Work Day website, which interested riders can access by visiting fallschurchva.gov/BTWD. The first 14,000 bicyclists who register and who stop by the pit stop they select at registration will receive a free Bike to Work Day T-shirt.
Tricentennial Park is located at the intersection of the Washington and Old Dominion Trail and Grove Avenue.
