‘Buskapade’ Nets Donations for Young Musicians at F.C. Farmers’ Market

410buskAt last Saturday’s “Buskapade” event at the Falls Church Farmers’ Market, local music teacher Larry Rice is pictured with one of his guitar student, Harrish Ganesh. The event saw performances by several of Rice’s students at the farmers’ market Saturday morning, with donations collected to benefit the student performers. The six youth musicians performing there earned a total of $130. Additionally, Rice’s adult students donated their earnings of $73 towards a deposit on next February’s studio recital at Jammin’ Java.
