The Village Preservation and Improvement Society will continues its decades-long tradition of celebrating Independence Day with the annual reading of several documents vital to the birth of the United States.
The public is invited to join respected amateur historian and Falls Church City Vice Mayor David Snyder as he facilitates the readings and puts them into context.
The readings will begin this Friday, July 4, at noon, in City Council Chambers, 300 Park Ave., Falls Church. The readings take a little over an hour.
