UPDATE: Dog in Tuesday Biting Incident Found

UPDATE: The animal involved in Tuesday’s dog biting  near the Mary Riley Styles Library has been located and is in quarantine. The young man bitten was treated and is fine.

Police are looking for information after a person was bitten by a German Shepherd-type dog on N. Virginia Ave. this afternoon in the City of Falls Church.

F.C. police say a young man was bitten by the dog around 1 p.m. in the area of Mary Riley Styles Public Library and the Exxon Gas Station at the corner of N. Virginia and W. Broad St. The dog was walked by two males, one with gray hair and one with white hair. Police say the men and dog were last seen heading into the Winter Hill area on S. Virginia Ave.

Anyone with information about the incident are asked to contact the City of F.C. Police Department as soon as possible at 703-241-5050.
