The formal kick-off of Falls Church businessman Don Beyer’s general election campaign for the 8th U.S. Congressional District seat being vacated by the retirement of Rep. Jim Moran will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16 at Quincy Park in Arlington. This will be the first formal campaign event since Beyer handily won the Democratic primary in June.
