The James Lee Community Center is seeking volunteers for their third annual Fall Festival, which is scheduled for Sept. 27, according to an e-mail sent earlier this week by Zuri Conroy, director of the community center.
The free event will last from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. and will feature community resource providers, health screenings, games, raffles, live entertainment, a fish fry and more.
According to the e-mail, prospective volunteers have to at least 15-years-old and are needed for before, during and after the event.
Volunteer opportunities include helping with parking, decorations, setup and clean up, food distribution, assisting festival attendees at the information booth and serving as a stage hand or activity leader.
