Falls Church Arts Announces ‘Loving Life’ Show

The first Falls Church Arts show of the 2014-2015 season is opening in late September, according to Barbara Cram, president of Falls Church Arts (FCA). FCA is calling for artists to submit entries for their show Loving Life. The deadline for submissions is Sept. 17 at midnight.

The show focuses on the individual artist’s perspective on loving life, whether it is food, children in a playground, the beauty of nature and a great view, or something else. FCA member Nick Gatz will serve as the juror for the submissions.

The show opens on Saturday, Sept. 27 with a Meet the Artists reception starting at 7 p.m. at ArtSpace Falls Church, which is located at 410 N. Maple St., Falls Church. There will be free refreshments and a cash bar at the reception. The Loving Life exhibit will run through Oct. 26. For more information, visit fallschurcharts.org.
