Crime Report: Barbershop Burglary & More Vehicle Crime

Two men were arrested for breaking into the Top Class Barbershop on E. Annandale Road in Falls Church on Sunday, Nov. 30, after police say they broke the front door and stole several items from the shop. The suspects, ages 18 and 46, are both from Vienna and were each charged with one count of burglary and one count of grand larceny.

Also in this week’s City of F.C. Crime Report, there are several vehicle-related crimes once again. Last Monday, Nov. 24, there were two incidents in the 500 block of N. Oak St. including four stolen tires from one vehicle and a GPS taken from another and then, on Wednesday, Nov. 26, police report sugar was poured into the gas tank of a vehicle on Ellison Street.

City of Falls Church Crime Report: November 24 – 30, 2014

Larceny of Vehicle Parts, 500 block N. Oak St. On Nov. 24, an unknown suspect stole four tires from a vehicle.

Larceny from Building, 1000 block E. Broad St. (24 Hour Fitness) On Nov. 25, police received a report that several items were stolen from the female locker room.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 500 block N. Oak St. On Nov. 24, an unknown suspect stole a GPS device from an unlocked vehicle.

Attempted Burglary, 900 block Lincoln Ave. On Nov. 26, an unknown suspect attempted to gain entry into a residence. No items were reported stolen.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 900 block Ellison St. On Nov. 26, police received a report that an unknown suspect poured sugar into a vehicle’s gas tank.

Trespass, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Nov. 27, a male, 44, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing.

Burglary, 102 E. Annandale Rd. (Top Class Barbershop), Nov. 30, front door of business broken and several items taken. A male, 46 and a male,
18, both of Vienna, VA were each charged with 1 count of burglary and 1 count of Grand Larceny. Property recovered.

Drunk in Public, 400 block James Ct., Nov. 30, a male, 42, of Waldorf, MD was arrested for being drunk in public.
