City Supports Two ‘Bike to Work Day’ Pit Stops

The City of Falls Church is supporting to official pit stops for Bike to Work Day 2015, which is scheduled for Friday, May 15. The pit stops will be open from 6:30 – 9 a.m. and 4 – 7 p.m. at Tricentennial Park (W&OD Trail at Grove Avenue).

The City will have free food, beverages, giveaways, demonstrations and raffles at the pit stops. Sponsors of the pit stops include Bikenetic, Dancing Mind and Tri360. Riders who will participate in Bike to Work Day can register at fallschurchva.gov/BTWD or biketoworkmetrodc.org.

The first 14,000 registrants who attend an official pit stop will receive a free event t-shirt. All registrants will be entered into a raffle to win one of several bicycles that have been donated to the city.
