La Cote D’Or Owner Dies Following Short Illness

An email from Lynne Campet, co-owner of the La Cote D’Or restaurant on Router 29 at the Arlington-Falls Church border, announced the passing of her husband and co-owner Ramon Campet following a short illness.

The following is the text of the message sent by Ms. Campet: “It is with great sadness that I inform you that our dear Raymond passed away Tuesday May 26th after a brief illness. Thank you to all our friends and customers who have assisted our family during this time. Raymond loved his business and his many clients so feel confident that he is watching over us all. La Côte d’Or will be closed on Wednesday June 3. Our regularly scheduled two for one dinner will be held next week on Thursday June 4. Raymond will be greatly missed. Fondly, Lynne Campet.”
