A man, claiming he had a gun, hit an employee and robbed the Falls Church Smashburger on S. Washington Street Friday night.
Police say a man walked into the business at 308 S. Washington Street around 10:45 p.m. Friday after the store was closed and then hit an employee on the head and implied he had a gun before demanding cash. After receiving the money, the suspect fled the store.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic or black male, around six feet tall, skinny and wearing blue jeans and a black button-up sweatshirt with a hood.
