F.C. Residents Earn Academic Honors Across the Nation

Several Falls Church residents recently earned academic honors from colleges, universities and other academic institutions across the nation.

Jason Dixon graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in electrical & computer engineering.

Takumi Nemec, a cadet at The Citadel, made the dean’s list at the school, where students must earn at least a 3.2 grade point average with no grade below a C for the previous semester’s work in order to make the list. Nemec also earned a Gold Star at The Citadel for earning a grade point average of 3.7 or higher.

Nathaniel Siciliano Ogle, a senior studying literature and cultural studies, made the dean’s list at Juniata College, where students must at least a 3.6 grade point average in order to make the list. Ivie S. D. Orobaton, a freshman at College of William and Mary, made the dean’s list at the school.
