One More Page Announces March Slate of Events

One More Page Books, an independent, neighborhood-oriented bookstore located at 2200 N. Westmoreland St. #101, Arlington, announced its March schedule of events in a recent press release.

On Saturday, March 5 the bookstore will host the third annual NoVa Teen Book Festival from 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. at Washington-Lee High School. The free event will feature more than  20 young adult authors who will participate in panels, break-out sessions, games and book signings.

Martha Brettschneider will share from Blooming into Mindfulness: How the Universe Used a Garden, Cancer and Carpools to Teach Me that Calm is the New Happy on Tuesday, March 8 at 7 p.m. On Friday, March 11 at 7 p.m. the store will host a launch party for A Tyranny of Petticoats: 15 Stories of Belles, Bank Robbers, & Other Badass Girls, which will feature the book’s editor Jessica Spotswood and three authors, Lindsay Smith, Caroline Tung Richmond and Robin Talley, who contributed to the book.

Towards the end of the month, One More Page will host best-selling author Michelle Gable to promote her novel I’ll See You in Paris, which is based on the life of Gladys Spencer-Churchill, the Duchess of Marlborough.
