Volunteers Needed for ‘Falls Church Feeds the World’ Event

Christ Crossman United Methodist Church is seeking volunteers for its Falls Church Feeds the World event, which will be held from 1 – 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 5 at Christ Crossman at 384 N. Washington Street. The volunteers are needed to help create 20,000 healthy meals that will be packed and shipped around the world.

Stop Hunger Now, a nonprofit that distributes meals through feeding programs in developing countries to promote education, improve students’ health and nutrition, stimulate economic growth and more, is partnering with Christ Crossman for this event.

Adults and children ages four and up are allowed to volunteer for this event. Shifts last 1-2 hours. Registration is required. For more information or to register, visit christcrossman.org or call 703-532-4026.
