A spokesman at the City of Falls Church confirmed to the News-Press Wednesday the existence of “unconfirmed reports” that there has been a change in the long-standing plans for the Fresh Market chain to open a store in the Lincoln at Tinner Hill mixed-use project now under construction on S. Maple St. Becky Witsman of the City’s Economic Development Office noted that Fresh Markets had been sold as a company to Apollo Global Management in April, but that a lease had been signed to move into the Tinner Hill location.
