F.C. Residents Earn Academic Honors Across the Nation

Several Falls Church residents recently earned academic honors from colleges, universities and other academic institutions across the nation.

Jake Ahlgrimm and Brandt Cole, students in the College of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, made the dean’s honor list at the school. Alexa S. Jeffrey, Jing Luo, Rebecca E. Moot and Misha Vessali made the dean’s list at Boston University, where students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average or be in the top 30 percent their class to make the list.

Joshua Movius made the dean’s list at Wheaton College, where students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average while carrying 12 credits or more. Noah Saberhagen made the dean’s list at the University of Hartford.

Charles R. Fidler and Katherine R. Griswold graduated from Boston University. Fidler graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and Griswold graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in marine science.

Lydia Hylton and Hieu Nguyen graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Hylton graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering and Nguyen graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering.

Thomas Sanders and Lauren Sese graduated from Loyola University Maryland. Sanders and Sese graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in business administration.
