Mary Riley Styles Public Library at 120 N. Virginia Avenue is hosting Cupcake Wars for its latest installment of Teen Time on Thursday, Aug. 4 from 3 – 4 p.m. in the library’s conference room. The event is a twist on the popular television show where teens will create summer-themed cupcakes and enter their favorite into a fun on-the-spot contest.

This is an edible workshop full of frosting, sprinkles and lots of candies to create unique treats for children rising to grades 6 – 12. Registration is required. For more information, call 703-248-5034.
