Second Video Released in Homicide at Skyline Towers


The Fairfax County Police Department’s detectives from the Major Crimes Division are continuing their investigation of the February 23 murder of Babtunde Fadahunsi at the Skyline Towers, located at 5597 Seminary Road. On Thursday, Aug. 18, the police department released a second video in connection with the homicide.

On Friday, June 10 the police arrested Bernardo Eugene Ford, Jr., 25, of Woodbridge, on a federal charge connected to the homicide. He was charged with the Use, Carry, Brandish, and Discharge of a Firearm During a Crime of Violence Causing Death, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 2 and 924(c)(1)(A)(iii) & (j).

According to detectives from the Major Crimes Division, Homicide Squad, this arrest was the result of tremendous assistance and cooperation from The Federal Bureau of Investigation Washington Field Office Violent Crimes Task Force, The Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Fairfax County Police Department’s Fugitive Squad.  Ford remains in custody.
