Lottery Announced for Affordable Rental Units at Lincoln at Tinner Hill

The City of Falls Church Housing and Human Services department will hold a lottery for 14 Affordable Dwelling Units on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 6 p.m. in the Dogwood Room of City Hall at 300 Park Avenue. The units are in the new Lincoln at Tinner Hill building at 455 S. Maple Avenue and applications are available on the City’s website and HHS office.

Applicants must return forms by close of business on Friday and must meet certain qualifications to be eligible for the lottery. Applicants must be U.S citizens to permanent legal residents, have a total household liquid assets not exceeding $40,000 and have a total household income of 50-80% of the Area Median Income.

The available units include 10 one bedrooms ($1,147 per month plus utilities), three two bedrooms ($1,310 per month plus utilities), and one two bedroom as a City Committed Affordable Dwelling Units ($869 per month plus utilities). The units will be available starting October 1 for staggered occupancy.
