Crime Report: 3 Vehicle Windows Smashed at 24 Hour Fitness

Three different vehicles parked at 24 Hour Fitness had their windows smashed on three different days last week according to the latest City of Falls Church crime report. In the first incident, on Feb. 18, personal items were stolen from the vehicle, in the second, nothing was reported taken and in the third smash-and-grab, a wallet was stolen.

In other crime, narcotics were reported stolen from Sunrise Retirement Home, a man skipped out on cab fare on Roosevelt Blvd., a wallet was taken from a customer at Starbucks

 

City of Falls Church Crime Report: January 16 – 22, 2017

Smoking Violation, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #50 (Hung Café Billiards) On Jan. 16, a male, 56, of Fairfax, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking Violation, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #50 (Hung Café Billiards) On Jan. 17, a male, 48, of Fairfax; a male, 34, of Winchester; a male, 68, of Falls Church; and a male, 37, of Falls Church, were cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Larceny from Building, 330 N. Washington St. (Sunrise Retirement Home) On Jan. 18, narcotics were reported stolen from the residence.

Larceny from Vehicle, 1000 E. Broad St. (24 Hour Fitness) On Jan. 18, an unknown suspect smashed the vehicle’s window and stole the victim’s personal items.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 1000 E. Broad St. (24 Hour Fitness) On Jan. 19, an unknown suspect smashed the vehicle’s window.

Defrauding an Innkeeper, 500 block Roosevelt Blvd. On Jan. 20, an unknown suspect failed to pay a fare to a taxi driver.

Noise Violation, 306 Hillwood Ave. (Lesly’s Restaurant) On Jan. 21, a male, 34, of Silver Spring, MD, was cited for a Noise Violation.

Public Drunkenness, 132 W. Broad St. (Dogwood Tavern) On Jan. 21, a female, 37, of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Larceny from Building, 344 W. Broad St. (Starbucks) On Jan. 21, a wallet was stolen from a customer.

Driving Under the Influence, 200 block S. Washington St. On Jan. 21, a male, 49, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Larceny from Vehicle, 100 E. Broad St. (24 Hour Fitness) On Jan. 22, an unknown suspect smashed the vehicle’s window and stole the victim’s wallet.

Driving Under the Influence, 500 block Roosevelt. Blvd. On Jan. 22, an officer responded to the scene of an accident. The driver, a male, 44, of Silver Spring, MD, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.
