Lions Club Offers Fresh Fruit Mar. 18

On Saturday, March 18, the Falls Church – Annandale Lions Club will offer fresh navel oranges, grapefruit, juice oranges, tangerines, apples, pears and strawberries for sale by the case, half-case and quarter-case at $45 a case and less in smaller quantities.

Sales will run from 8:15 a.m. until sold out at Annandale Swim Club (7530 Little River Turnpike).
White House ornaments, maple syrup, soup mix and cook books are also on sale Saturday, and the Club will collect donations of canned food for needy families.

Lions provide eyeglass recycling, eye exams and new glasses as well as sight and hearing tests and college scholarships, plus support for youth sports and environmental education.
