Missing Elderly Man Found; Returned Home

UPDATE: The missing endangered 81-year-old man was located in Fairfax City around 8 p.m. tonight (April 5). He was in good health and has been reunited with family at home.

Fairfax County Police are searching for an elderly McLean man who was reported missing last night, police said Wednesday.

James W. Conrad, 81, was last seen yesterday around 6:30 p.m. near Lee Highway and Gallows Road in the Dunn Loring area. Police said Conrad was at a store before leaving in his silver pickup truck. A family member reported him missing around 10 p.m. last night.

Conrad, a McLean resident, has a history of health-related issues and requires medication, police said. He is described as white, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 185 pounds. He has gray hair, blue eyes and should be wearing glasses. He was last seen wearing a navy blue windbreaker, blue pants, brown leather shoes and wire-rimmed glasses. His truck is a 2008 Toyota Tacoma with Virginia license plates, KMY-1266.
