Mason Grad Earns Bachelors, Now Onto Masters Studies

Long-time Falls Church resident and George Mason alumnus (2015), Felipe Borja, graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Robotics and a concentration in Studio Art from Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, California in May.

Borja attended Harvey Mudd as a Presidential Scholar and is now heading to a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Robotics at Virginia Tech. Borja’s research will be sponsored by a UNICEF project lead by Professor Kevin Kochersberger of VT’s Unmanned Systems Lab that aims to develop low-cost drones to be flown in Africa’s humanitarian corridor to deliver medicines and blood to isolated hospitals.
