Last week was a historic week in Virginia with the rededication of the Capitol in Richmond and the visit of Queen Elizabeth II on the occasion of the 400th Anniversary of the settlement in Jamestown.
GMHS Girls Blank Raiders, 2-0
Journeying briefly along Route 7 to battle cross-town rival J.E.B. Stuart, the George Mason High School varsity girls soccer team won the “Battle of the Pike,” 2-0, behind the legs of junior Rachel Kazman and freshman Kelley Frank.
